Open Invitation

A one-off dance event rebuilt into a four-pillar brand ecosystem — strategy, events, newsletter, and partnerships.
Open Invitation started as a simple dance event with no real identity or brand system, or repeatable format. The goal was to build it into something durable. A platform; not just a one-off event.
I built outward instead of just bigger, turning one event into a four-pillar ecosystem: brand strategy services (the consulting practice, applying the same thinking externally see: Achromatic), Track & Feel (a recurring vinyl listening experience, built as a live extension of the brand's taste and point of view), Deep Cuts (a biweekly editorial newsletter, giving the brand a written voice and direct line to it's audience between events), and brand partnerships that extend Open Invitation's indentity into other companies spaces. One strategy, expressed across live, written, consultative, and collaborative formats. At a key inflection point, I led a full brand relaunch (identity system, copy tone, and multi-channel rollout) turning four loose projects into one legible brand.
Open Invitation is proof of concept for what I offer clients: turning one strong idea into a coherent, multi-format brand people return to.
